I see nothing wrong with having the webbing surgically fixed. I have considered doing it myself. It is just so hard to fix it non-surgically, especially if it is so close to the cut line-- as in our cases. There's just so little to work with at the beginning. But keep trying. Surgery should be a last resort... always.
