An Aesop's Fable often used to identify the urgency with which circumcisers use to promote circumcision is "The Fox That Lost It's Tail."
http://www.planetozkids.com/oban/leg...esop-fable.htm The moral of the story being that we shouldn't trust self-interested advice. But could another fable that can be related to circumcisers be "The Dog in a Manger?" http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Dog_in_the_Manger "People often begrudge others what they cannot enjoy themselves." It just seems to me this fits in with the "if I can't have it, YOU can't have it" attitude concerning fathers who want their children to "look just like me."
