Hi Everyone,
I have a few questions on using the your-skin cone by itself as well as properly using my TLC-X. I have a loose cut to the point where sometimes my penis gets so flaccid my shaft provides full coverage to my glans. I can almost always pull skin most of the way over my glans with a slight amount of force when fully erect. Even though I have this loose cut it is very hard to get enough skin to use the TLC-X properly. I know I made it seem like I have a lot of loose skin but it is hard to explain that I do, but it is mostly I guess what I would call "shaft skin" rather than skin that could be used to efficiently cover the glans for restoring. Some information that might be important before asking my questions is that my penis mainly has three states. Mostly my penis is super flaccid and usually (not always) becomes covered by my shaft skin. At this state it seems like my glans shrinks into my shaft making my penis very small. Without measuring I would guess that it is about 1" long while super flaccid. The next state would be its normal flaccid state. Without measuring I would guess that my penis is about 2.5" or 3" long in this state. Finally when fully erect my penis is about 4.5 inches long. I do not know if the first super flaccid state is normal, but it seems to be causing most of my restoration problems. What I first want to find out about is how to properly wear the your skin cone individually (while on break from using the TLC-X) where it will not fall off. Maybe it is because I do not have enough skin yet, but what ends up happening when I wear it is my penis will go into its super flaccid state "shrinking into itself" which makes the cone fall off. Although I have no real problems with it, I am hoping that eventually becoming fully restored will fix this super flaccid state because then there will already be skin covering the glans. Does this happen to anyone else, and are there any ways of wearing the cone where it will not fall off when super flaccid? My next problem is with the TLC-X itself. My wearing habits are almost always only at night by plunging only (I do not have a strap... yet). My problem is the your skin cone cannot keep the TLC-X on. I do not have enough non-shaft skin to properly fit snug inside the cone and stay there when erect. What I have to do is force skin over and use paper tape to keep it there. My paper tape method feels normal and works nicely, however it is time consuming to put on as well as to re-apply every time I have to use the restroom which is why I never wear the TLC-X during the day. I plan on using paper tape until I have enough skin to use the cone, but I was wondering if anyone else had any better ideas? Thanks! |

Hi,
I hope someone with a comparable experience weighs in, because I'm stumped. Quote:

Hey Ron,
Thanks for the information. It was helpful and I found many similar situations on medhelp.org, but I guess I am not allowed to post full links yet. Like I said the retracting is not much of a personal concern, and it is not like it retracts "fully into my body" like a lot of people were fearfully mentioning on the website. For now I just see it as a goal of what to look forward to in two years as it looks like a foreskin I also think that when I become restored it will go away because of the new skin covering the glans. One more thing is people were mentioning that zinc supplements help prevent this from happening. I have no idea how true that is but it might be worth trying. For the record, I am about 6' 3" and weigh around 220 pounds. I also wanted to ask about the straps and the Packer0. When looking into strap sizes, because I am 6' 3" do I need the longer one for both day and night tugging? Also for the packer is there an indentation for the frenulum, or does it not matter? I still have some of mine intact so I was wandering if an indentation would make it more comfortable? |

If you penis is getting "super flaccid" and the skin cone falls off, try it with a packer or the TLC and minimum tension, just enough to keep from being super flaccid.
That's what I have to do when retaining, otherwise, the cone by itself falls off quickly. The last time I was 220 lbs was 1995, unfortunately, that's now up to 300 lbs. |

I have similar challenges with my TLC-X device. I will let Ron comment as he is the expert. My cone falls off throughout the day but I've just learned to deal with it. Night tugging I dont use the device and still havent found the answer. I've tried tapping but it hurts during nocturnal erections along with everything else. There is a spay adhesive I will be ordering in the next day or so that might solve the conundrum.

It just occurred to me that I cut about 1/4" off the top of my cone. Now I pull a little skin higher on the metal apparatus before applying the cone. It works great and most of all, stays on at least 85% of the day. I think my own skin gets tired of it on more than TLC-X falling off
Another thought- it took about 2 months before I learned how TLC-X could work for me, so take some time to get to know your penis and the device. Your penis will seem like new soon and you will experience new levels of sensitivity beyond anything you can imagine. Hope this helps. Peter |

You mentioned in a previous post that the tugger has been falling off at night and even perhaps during the day. There is a solution available that will make sure your tugger is contained should it come off including any loose parts without strings or safety pins. Check out this website as you might find the product helpful. http://www.tugnwear.com

It has taken me awhile to figure out what works at night. What stays on for me is the TLC-X, with the spring, but without the thumbscrew or strap. It probably stays on because it has some give in it and there is nothing pulling it outward. I am about a 2.5 after 6 months so that may work for others similarly situated or with more slack. That also gives a rest from tugging.

Hey man,
Just curious, do you have a "webbed or buried penis" at all? Just wondering, as I believe that this could cause the "turtled" look that's being discussed? Anyone with any anatomical knowledge want to chime in here? Cheers Alex |
