Hello everyone,
Being a little new to this I thought I might seek advice from the well informed on here. First of all I'm not even sure if restoration is even possible for me. From some of the videos I've seen on some of the sites it seems most guys, even cut, can pull skin all the way over their glans no problem. Not so for me. I find it hard to get anywhere near pulling skin over the head of my penis. Secondly I'm a little worried about this talk of testicle skin forming part of the shaft. I already have hairs half way up the shaft and the thought of having them even further up disturbs me somewhat. I'm desperate to improve the sensitivity that I feel I've lost through circumcision. I've only ever reached orgasm through penetration once in my life and it's not through lack of trying. This is something that is really holding me back in my life, so much so that I've been single for some time now, partly because I am a bit embarrassed about not being able to climax through intercourse. I'm finding all the information out there very confusing and would appreciate any help you lot could offer. Thanks in advance. |

First of all, welcome and thank you for posting. I'm not an expert with restoration by any means, but I have been going at it for five years now. I can say with complete confidence that your fear that you will be unable to restore due to lack of skin is completely unfounded. True, some of the pre-made devices such as the TLC tugger do require some slack to begin with, but there are other ways to get you started. One is manual tugging. I only engage in this occasionally, so I will not attempt to give a run down here, but you can easily search the forum for instructions on the different methods. Manual tugging might be your best option to start with if you have little slack. Some even find this method so fruitful that they continue with it all the way to full coverage. Another option may be taping. Additionally, taping coupled with the "canister method" (using an empty film canister on which to roll up some skin and tape it in place) can also be a great way to start. Personally, I started with the canister method.
Above all, I want you to know that you CAN restore. The trick will just be some trial and error, i.e. finding out what works for you with the amount of skin you have at the moment. There is no way of knowing how quickly your skin will respond to any type of tugging (search the forums for "mitosis" if you want to read some of the technical issues.) Some people grow skin at an amazing rate, i.e. going from no slack to full flaccid coverage in a year or maybe two. For others, such as myself, it takes longer. I have been tugging for five years and have gone from no slack at all to having the skin bunch up at the corona when I am flaccid. Seems like a long time, and it is! But I will continue as long as it takes to get erect coverage. For me, that may be another ten years. Others would have foreskin to the floor by then. As for growing more hair on the shaft, I am also of the opinion that that is for the most part an unfounded claim. From what I've read and experienced, the skin you tug grows and multiplies at the point of greatest force exerted on it, which is where you tug from. You should tug from wherever you want your rollover point to be. In general, most do this somewhere very close to the circumcision scar. The skin growth at this point will not pull any hair skin up the shaft. Remember, it's skin growth, not skin stretching. Stretching is only the method used to entice the skin cells to multiply. Give yourself some time to try out either manual tugging or taping or the canister. Patience and persistence are the virtues of the restoration community. Chances are, you will not see immediate results. But after anywhere from a few weeks to a few months, you will wake up one day and realize with certainty that this works and that you can restore to whatever point you desire. |

If it makes you feel better I just started restoring coming up on three weeks ago. Like raider said you CAN restore regardless of your skin tightness.

You concerns are normal. I couldn't pull any skin over my glans while erect, when I started. Now it is easy to do.
Many worry about hairy skin creeping up their shaft. There si strong consesnus this will not happen. You can look back at older posts and will see this come up periodically. You are growing more skin. You are growing the skin near where the tension is applied, the tip of your penis. This allows your hairy skin to settle back down against your baody and leave your shaft. It will look like the opposite is happening, because under tension, the hairy skin is pulled up onto your shaft, but we are not streching skin, we are growing skin, so that is only an illusion. Lots of information here, look around. And welcome! Regards
