Thanks for letting us know. And you're right, if it doesn't work "so what". If even the slightest damage begins, you can immediately stop just like any one of us can stop what we're doing if it's having an ill effect. If no one is willing to experiment with this kind of stuff, then we'll never know if it can help us. You'll even have a doctor (not American) to help with the observation. Sounds like a good opportunity. Keep us posted, please.

No need to be so defensive, I never said you or your doctor are stupid.

And since you continue to use the word "stretching", it still sounds as if you do not understand the process. I will assume that you do, you simply like to use a term that is misleading. Shrug.

Best wishes

But using the DTR or CAT or what ever, you are stretching the skin. You are using tension (pulling/stretching/tugging) what ever. I don't mean to argue and since my spelling is not the best it makes it difficult for me to explain what i mean. But wish you could stop writing that i don't understand the process. I'm not 10 years and not stupid. Restoring, stretching, tugging same shit different wrapping.

It appears that Greg is just trying to make sure you don't injure yourself or hinder your ability to restore. A thoughtful gesture, really. There is a good deal of responsibility we must account for, when experimenting with new restoration-related matters. I support your situation because you have an unbiased doctor to assist you with your restoration experiment, and thats a rarity to mostly any of us. DO be careful, and do take the warnings as potentially helpful, because I'm sure that's what they are meant to be. It would be good for you to report here like you will with your doctor, over the next month. There are experienced restorers here that may have additional (or even more) things to say than what your doctor may or may not notice. We're all here to help

Hey Americut. I know :-) Just felt that he didn't like what I'm trying here. I'm careful, believe me the life i have had with my health, tumors, operations, losing strength in my right leg and so on I'm not afraid to try alternative things. If they don't work they don't work. But would never carry on using something that is giving me pain or other things. Just thought that it's nice to share with you guys that i have a doctor that understands me, and is willing to help me with what I'm doing.

I am just trying to help. I agree that a supportive doctor is a treasure.

Many people do not understand what is going on in restoration. I see that over and over again.

Lack of knowledge is not stupidity.

Your words indicated a possible lack of knowledge that could cause you or your doctor to choose a treatment option that would otherwise not be used.

You have explained that you know what you are doing and your doctor has thought it out. Feel free to ignore my previous posts if they are not helpful.

Regards

Hey Greg.
I have been reading lots, chatting with others and that's why i in the end bought the DTR :-) I see there at lots of ways to do things and I'm an open minded guy :-) I don't mean to sound ungrateful Greg, just felt like you was telling me that me and my doctor are stupid and that i don't understand what I'm doing when I'm restoring. But understand you are only looking out to make sure that others don't do anything stupid.

If you're going to experiment with a corticosteroid that thins out your skin while restoring, be sure to only use it with manual tugging. Any sort of device that places constant tension on the foreskin is meant to be ignored while it's used, and any damage that occurs is more likely to happen when you're not paying attention.

Has the doctor given you instructions on exactly how the cream is used to aid in relieving phimosis? I'm guessing you wouldn't want to get the stuff on your inner foreskin, and that you'd apply it only sparingly on your shaft skin.

Its more for the shaftskin, but i do use some on the skin that rols over the bell on the DTR while using that.
I don't use it on the head or on the scar.
