It simply occurs to me that, being routinely circumcised as infants, we all were cut similarly and started out with similar small baby penises. Could there be a correlation between penis size and desire to restore as adults?

Think about it for a moment. Guy #1 and Guy #2 get a similar circ as babies, but grow up to have very different size penises. Guy #1 has an average 5 inch penis. Guy #2 has an above average 7 inch penis. Wouldn't Guy #2 be missing a larger portion of penis surface area than Guy #1? Are bigger guys more likely to miss that sensation and seek out restoration.

If you were circumcised as an infant, please fill out the poll and let's see if restorers tend to be larger than the average.

PS-- please be honest. Measurements are from base of penis on top side to the tip. No measuring from the side or from the butthole up!

When I was young, I was really skinny and my dick was over 7.5" long. I remember after I hit puberty, my circ scar burning whenever I was hard from the skin being stretched so tight, and also itching really bad at the base and to the sides of my balls, also from the skin stretching. Does anyone else remember having discomfort like that after hitting puberty, like at 13 or 14?

If there is a relation between large dicks and restoring, it will show in the poll. The poll should be a 20-50-20-10 split if there is no relation, as we should as a group follow the normal distribution of average penis size.

I was cut so tight my balls ached when I had an erection and yes I experienced the itching you mention. I'm 7+ inches.

I fall in the 6-7 in. category. I often wondered if I was smaller than normal until I learned what the average was. After that I was pretty excited and more confident with myself.

Luckily I was not cut too tightly. I was left as a CI 2 so I never had any problems with tightness.

(BTW why would you measure from your butthole?)

As a gay man, and in a country were most are uncut, I can tell you circumcision makes em smaller. all cut guys bar one iv encountered here all have smaller penises, the uncut ones are with out a doubt on average a lot larger.

Flaccid - circumference = 3 7/8 inch, length = 3 3/4 inch
hard - circumference = 5 inch, length = 6 1/4 inch

I've noticed that here in the US as well but only with Caucasians.

I'm comfortable with my size. I get comments about how huge I am all the time that it has gotten old. If i was left intact, my size would've probably been about 10 + inches bone pressed. That's about an inch bigger than my circumcised penis. This is no joke and I'm not trying to brag. I strongly believe that circumcision robs us of our rightful size. It takes away so much veins and blood vessels that it reduces the normal flow of the blood. An intact penis looks so alive with blood flowing to every corner of the penis.

Since I started restoring I've gained about 3/4 of an inch. This clearly shows that restoration can at least help get you back somewhat to where you should be.

Another thing: What if Mandingo, the porn actor, was intact. A scary thought indeed.

I realize this is a self-reported poll, but I think it is pretty accurate judging from everyone's progress pictures. Seems restorers are, on average, bigger guys. I have always kind of thought that being bigger influences the need to restore, our dicks missing a larger percentage of skin that should have been there. I'm sure it's not the only factor, but it does seem to be part of the equation.

Despite being larger than average, I always thought of my penis as too small, also. Before I got heavy, mine was 7+ long and 6 inches around, but I was constantly worried about my size. I even remember trying to have sex with a girl who absolutely could not get me in her due to my thickness. She was very little and not very sexually experienced, but still...

Until I had restored for a while, I thought of myself as small. Later, after growing some skin, I began to lose that compulsion to make my penis larger and now I feel I am just fine. It FEELS big.

I wonder if I could have gotten it in that girl if I had the loose skin and natural lube I have now...
