Ok, so about two weeks ago I found out that my sister is going to be having a boy in July and I have been trying to get up the courage to ask her if she had planned on having him cut. Well yesterday I finnaly did it. She told me that her and the father haven't talked about it and that she probably would have it done. I asked her why and she said "just because", and "it's really not a big deal". The only thing I said back was "if it's not a big deal then let him decide, if he wants it done then he can do it at any time, but if you do it it can never be undone". She seemed to agree with me on that point. I wraped up our little chat by saying "if you still decide to go through with it, go on YouTube and watch one or two videos of it being done to a child and see how you feel".
I hope I got through to her, I guess I'll have to wait and see. Last edited by sonic2552; June 28th, 2010 at 21:33. |

Sick, disgusting, perverts...
The child is screaming but it has NOTHING to do with the fact that his foreskin was scraped from his glans and is being crushed in a clamp at ALL. ![]()

I am planning to talk to my brother-in-law about the whole thing. Im just not sure how to start the conversation with out him thinking that i am overly interested in his sons penis.
This is a tricky subject to tackle with someone that has no eduction about the issue. |

Instead of approaching him directly, have you considered creating some sort of information package for him?
One thing you could do is either prepair an e-mail with links, print out some pamphlets at nocirc.org, or both. I've managed to convince a few of my friends this way.

I think im going to stick with the "can never be undone" approach. If i come at him/her with packets of information and a bunch of links i think it may seem a little premeditated. I want this to be as casual yet serious as i can possibly make it.
If i get ANY feeling that they want more info about RIC then i will be there 100% with links and my own info. I want to try and keep any talk of sexuality out of conversation as much as i can. Focusing on the freedom of choice i think will be my best bet. |
