I'm new to restoration and have recently purchased a packer. I'm curious which produces the quickest results - the packer or the tugger? By results, I mean new growth, of course! Thanks.

You should tug as many hours as you can if you want better results. In my case, I don't (can't) tug during the day, so I use my Packer8 all day until I come home and tug during all night.
I think that the tugger, packer and the cone alone are three important tools that combined give good results. The tugger provides the tension for skin growth, the packer is also keeping the skin under tension during the hours where you can't tug. And sometimes I like to use the cone alone, I have noticed it makes your skin "hug" your glands in a natural way after you use it for some hours. So far I have made good progress in comparison with the lost days of trying t-tapes or o-rings which didn't helped me at all. I am going to order the pair of cylinders and maybe a bigger packer to get extra tension. Keep it up, I guess that the results mainly depend on your efforts and your skin type, just see what works better for your daily routine. P |

Thanks very much for your insight!
I've found wearing the Your Skin Cone is the easiest to do during the work hours and am wondering if that is going to be enough to cause new skin to grow - or if I will need to tug and/or pack to accomplish new growth. Has anyone else out there seen significant growth by using just the cone? by using just the packer? Thanks! |

just a cone won't do anything. i've been doing just a packer for a while because of summer, can't be tugging down the leg while wearing shorts and the knee brace thing just won't cut it... i think i've been growing more skin... i don't see why it won't work becuase it's pretty much the same thing as using a DTR, a DILE, a CAT II or one of those other expanding packers, andd people have fully restored with those haven't they?
