Default San Francisco - Need help gathering signatures

Lloyd Schofield has spearheaded an initiative to get a circumcision ban for San Francisco on the ballot in the fall of 2011. Citizen initiatives require over 7000 signatures to become ballot proposals. With double-signers and other signatures that will be challenged, it's best to shoot for about 50% over the requirement.

This means Lloyd needs to collect about 30 signatures every single day from now on. If you can help him collect signatures of registered San Francisco voters, please contact Bay Area Intactivists at tinakimmel@motherlove.org

If you know of any other jurisdiction where citizen initiatives can become ballot proposals with enough signatures then let's get started. Let us know how we can help.

Today members of the community will submit 12,265 signatures supporting the SF MGM Bill to the San Francisco Department of Elections. This is history in the making.

I love UN-sticking threads. This is old news now. Done deal.
