Registering as a supporter is a good idea as it gives you access to the private forum. I registered as a supporter and I am glad I did. Foregen is very transparent as a supporter because you can interact directly with the president of the organization. He is there to answer questions, give feedback etc.

I need to configure my paypal account first in order to be able to make an annual donation.
I'm growing more and more impatient to become a supporter !

When I registered I don't remember setting anything up for annual payments, it was a while ago though so my memory could be wrong. I don't know how it will work, maybe when my next payment is due they will just lock my account until they receive the payment. If your anxious about registering as a supporter you could try right now.

I tried, but as we have to pay via paypal, it won't let me subscribe before I configure my paypal account.

Porco, I'm not sure what you mean by "configure" regarding your paypal account.

When you "subscribe" through the Foregen site, everything's dealt with behind the scenes by paypal, if you don't have the $50 dollars in the account it will take it from your linked bank account / debit card / credit card.

When I first subscribed I had nothing in the account so although I was registered on the Foregen supporters site from the day I signed up, I couldn't access the private section of the site until paypal took the money from my bank account and then transferred this over to Foregens account.

I have to send a paper to my bank in order to send money to my paypal account.

I just donated $500! Feels good, man. Now we'll be 12.5% of the way there...!

If you haven't donated yet, I encourage you to do so. I'll admit that a part of me was very hesitant at parting with all that cash (and I was put off by faffing about with a PayPal account :P) but I feel so much better now, and I wish I had donated a lot sooner.

I tried to donate the other night and it told me to use another card. I've donated with the card in the past and it's good. Don't know what's up with that.

You may want to check with paypal to see what's going on. Paypal is the payment processing company that Foregen uses, so it's probably a problem with paypal and not Foregen.

I know that paypal has an upper limit to how many dollarin transactions you can make with them unless if you "activate" your account, then its unlimited.
