According to chucks site, after using the DTR, the skin should look something like the picture on his page here:
http://foreskinrestore.com/tension.html No matter how much tension (1,2 or even 3 elastics) or how long i wear the DTR (4-6 hours), my skin never looks like that. I kinda blame my lack of progress over the last couple months on this. Am i doing something wrong here? |

I've been using the DTR for about 5 months and haven't seen kin like that. I wear it tight enough that it burns a bit at the start, that goes away then about 2 hours later comes back, but a little more intense, then I take it off for 30 minutes to an hour, then I put it back on. I do that 2-3 days a week. Also, I only use the set screws. No rubberbands.

I must say that my skin does look like chucks after DTR use but I don't think this is as simple as seeing is believing. If you are applying enough tension that you can feel your skin stretch that you should not worry.
I also find that the tension screw does a better job then the rubber bands because the bands sort of self adjust the tension where as you can apply more tension than what your skin can handle and lock that tension in place. |

Been using the DTR for over a year, my skin never looks like the example. Doesn't make a difference if I used rubber bands or the screw (I've stopped using the screw since it never stayed in place). For me, using bands is enough to cause slight discomfort after a few hours (but it's usually about time for a bathroom break, which is long enough for me to remove it, do what I need to and put it back on for a few more hours). I but it on at 6:30 in the morning and it remove it for the day at 6:30 in the evening (minus the 2 bathroom breaks for about 10 mins each).
