The below was sent to me on June 8, 2011:
Link: http://CircumcisionHarm.info/ Canadians Launch Online Circumcision Harm Survey An international online Survey of Circumcision Harm was launched recently through a grassroots collaboration of Canadian and U.S. volunteers. CircumcisionHarm.info will allow men around the world with access to a computer to document the adverse effects of childhood genital cutting on their health and well-being and to upload photos of their harm. Statistical results from the survey will be publicly viewable at no charge, with specialized filtered reports available to anyone for a nominal fee. According to the Canadian website, the project was launched "because the medical community has never investigated the long-term adverse physical, sexual, emotional or psychological consequences of infant/childhood circumcision on the health of adult men... due, in part, to many men with such harm not being comfortable enough to speak with others about these issues, or not being given a safe venue in which to document these adverse consequences." The Survey Programmer expressed hope that documenting such consequences and making the results publicly accessible "will provide a starting point for dialogue about the long-term adverse consequences of male genital cutting... that will be investigated by medical communities and taken seriously by the wider societies where customs of male childhood genital cutting occur." The survey takes about 20 minutes to complete.

not that hard to complete. i didnt send them a picture, but i did put down some info thats unique only to me. that should help for statistical variation to imply that im human and the survey isnt just a bunch of copies of one person, or robots.

Survey was good. I got a kick out of one question. It asks, "what do you engage in when you think of circumcision?" I replied, "foreskin restoration."
I tried to send them $10.00 but the pay pal link screwed up on me.

Interesting, but I'm not sure what good its going to do. You can't say this percentage doesn't like that they were circumcised as this survey already assumes that you don't. Even if it didn't, it would tend to attract guys that didn't like being cut.

Like Intaction's victims registry, it helps to quantify the number of men who feel they were victimized.

I think it was written up by the kind of person who is far too angry about his own situation to be objective. He apparently didn't take into account that many of us don't make such a fuss about having been circumcised, even if we did experience problems as a result. Rather than feeling traumatized, many just cope with the hand they're dealt in life.

I believe things like this do a lot of good. We must do something in order to establish the fact that genital mutilation can and does cause psychological trauma when the individual realizes that part of the genitalia was removed for to satisfy a cultural norm. This is necessary, because the AMA, AAP, etc., presently does not acknowledge that RIC can and does have this effect. If we don't say something about the hand we've been delt, then boys in the future will be delt the same hand.
