Can any DTR+DP user enlighten me if the deep pusher is more comfortable? Or should I maybe save some more bucks on another device entirely (the TLC-X comes to mind, as it appears to be something of the "choice of the moment")?
I've never used a DTR but I own a CAT II Q with a deep pusher. For me, the CAT II Q deep pusher is MUCH more comfortable than the standard pusher. Plus there is ample room for what remains of my frenulum.

I am not sure. A buddy of mine just got one last week and I got the new air kit. He seemed to like the pusher when he first tried it on but I am sure he will need to try it out for a few days to know. His problem is with not getting a deep enough plunge. He also got the 8" rod to help with that.

I have tried the air kit once and I like using my own breath to inflate it. When I did it with no wrap id seemed to show my 1.25 inches on foreskin that was not there in April when I started! I just have to work out how to practically work it into my routine when you can't pee without taking the tape off.

By the way as for comfort, I HIGHLY recommend using those cosmetic pads Chuck shows on his website. I cut them down to the size of the plunger and I am good to go for up to 10 hours.

I just got one. You need much more skin to use it, but I find it's less uncomfortable than the standard version.

That's what I figured. But even if it turns out that one doesn't have enough skin for it yet, it gives a good incentive to stay on track and grow more skin until you can use it.

Interesting. That sounds good. I think I'll give it a shot.

Yes I have the $40 notched plated that Chuck sells and I can attest that it is much more comfortable than the standard pusher plate. The notch is the key and the bigger dome helps a bunch. I wear it at night. I am using chuck's air method as of right now but have decided to not use the black wrap and velcro strips but instead just let my skin balloon up. The $40 investment is well worth it though if you are having discomfort with the included plate. I have been rstoring with the dtr exclusively since 2007 and my foreskin restoration has been incredible. Excellent device and the best I have tried.
