Question Quick question (mild concern)

Late last night I was doing some manual tugging on the ventral side using Method 1 using the drawings over at suddenlink. Up until now, I've never tugged with my fingers directly on my inner skin. A couple of times over the course of 5 to 6 minutes, there was a very slight discomfort on the left side of the inner skin (left = looking down at it from the dorsal side). I immediately released all tension and waited a bit till I resumed. I attributed this to not being used to tugging with my fingers being directly applied to my inner skin and to not previously iso-targeting a specific area. Please keep in mind, I was targeting the entire dorsal side and not specifically the left side.

Having no irritation, I moved to Method 2 a few minutes after I finished Method 1. I had one hand at various locations on the shaft and, the other other hand on the inner skin. I applied tension off and on for a couple of minutes and then stopped as I felt I had sufficiently tugged.

Here's where the mild concern comes in lol. Shortly after stopping there was a slight burning sensation on the left dorsal side (left = looking down at the the dorsal side). That area also looked a little "irritated" and the burning was annoying but not to the extent of "omg it's going to fall off" nor did it feel like it was "sharp or stabbing".

I did some very light massaging as I was laying down and then I fell asleep. At one point in the night, I woke up with a raging erection but there was no pain involved. My bladder being full is what had woken me up so the erection subsided as I got out of bed to goto the restroom. After urinating, I took a look at my inner skin on the left and noticed some mild discolouration. I shrugged it off and went back to bed as there was no pain.

That brings us to today. There is some mild irritation on the left inner skin and, there is some discolouration there. The discolouration goes from the left inner skin across the dorsal inner skin in a line that is parallel with the Glans and, it fades in colour as it goes to the right.

It feels sort of like a carpet burn so, I'm fairly certain it's just an abrasion from some slight skin slip I didn't notice last night. I'm obviously not going to tug till the discolouration fades and the mild irritation stops. I'm not worried about this but, I am interested on everyone's thoughts. For the sake of clarity, there is a picture of the left side (flaccid) attached. It's poor quality but, you can see the discolouration line in the middle point of the inner skin. I want to stress that the skin doesn't look raw/broken like a carpet burn typically would.

I have had a few things that sound similar. I waited until they healed, generally a week or so if memory serves. I assume that they were areas tugged a bit too hard. It is a pain to have to wait, but in the long run it is very little time not tugging.

Regards

Yea, I have no issue putting something on hold in order to allow it to heal. I've had my share of strains and pulls over the years with various tendons, ligaments, and muscles so I'm well versed in "the waiting game". Like you said though, in the grand scheme of things taking a break is just a bump in the road. The only reason I brought it up is that it's literally in such a "sensitive/tender" area. I probably wouldn't even be "feeling" anything if it had been in another area like on the shaft skin. The fact that nothing felt wrong during a nocturnal erection and, that nothing looked wrong or felt wrong from an involuntary erection earlier today outside of the discolouration aids in that assessment that it's not a big deal. I will be thrilled once the "irritation" passes though lol.

Just wanted to do a quick update in cause anyone was curious or keeping tabs on this. The irritation passed yesterday as far as I could tell but, I wanted to hold off on posting to make sure. There is some very slight discolouration on the left still but, it has almost become unnoticeable. This is no loss of sensitivity in the area but it is a little "tender". I'll not be considering to resume tugging till this week is over and then I'll reevaluate how the area "feels". I'm not concerned, just erring on the side of caution.

Glad to know that the irritation is clearing up. Caution will never hurt especially if you have not run into the same problem during earlier tugging. Obviously, you do not want more damage than what circumcision caused.
